Christine Moore. All the granite used in our products is found in the Canadian Shield regions of Ontario, including Muskoka, Parry Sound and Algonquin. We then cut the granite with a diamond saw to various sizes and hand polish with up to 14 different diamond grits to achieve the final natural polish.

Pat Orton. Pat the Wood Carver creates one of a kind wooden animal sculptures of all sizes. He has a natural talent to release the spirit of the animal he sees in each piece of wood. He raised farm animals, respectfully hunted, trapped and fished; Pat honours these animal spirits as models for his work.

Cameron Sangster. I was influenced into fly fishing by my grandfather who was a skilled and serious salmon fly fisherman. I developed a fly tying course and taught at Green Drake Outfitters fly shop. Over 30 years of practice and working as an aquatic entomology technician and professional fly tyer my skills became honed enough to tie Victorian Age Atlantic salmon flies. His Royal Highness Prince Charles and actor Michael Keaton have received my flies. I am now semi-retired and sell these as works of art.

Jon Wood. Heather’s Fudge sells old-fashioned, melt-in-your mouth style fudge! They craft their fudge from scratch, by hand, the same way as when they started more than 20 years ago. Each small batch starts with a brown sugar and butter base. Heather’s Fudge will be bringing more than 15 flavours to the Market each appearance, as well as providing samples! They don’t add corn syrup, preservatives or artificial colouring, and even have dairy, gluten and soy free options.

Kelsey Catcher. Rural Roots isn’t just a macrame house, it’s a vibe, an energy, an experience! I’m Kelsey, owner, creator and everything in between here at Rural Roots Apothecary. I began this business as a soul project to share my fiery spirit, eclectic style and edgy energy with the world. With RR you can find all your modern macramé décor/accessories + fashion needs, as well as a self care botanical line + some of the coziest modern knitwear!

Frank Drinkwater. Frank Drinkwater from Muskoka Wood Bowls has been spinning bowls on his lathe since 2019. Believing there’s a missed opportunity in the local marketplace for large wooden salad bowls his work ranges from 6-inch diameter “pinch” bowls up to 30-inch” Monster Salad Bowls”

Frank has also found that “less than perfect” pieces of timber could be embellished with epoxy resin and turned on the lathe to produce one-of-a-kind artistic pieces and now dedicates a large portion of shop time to create combinations of hybrid wood and resin bowls made from burls, fruit woods and hardwoods sourced from across Ontario with high quality Canadian made resins that are custom coloured to enhance and beautify the wood.
